Super Smash Bros Brawl is coming to Club Nintendo!!!

Yes, that's fucking right! You heard it here first folks! I emailed Jason Hill from The Age newspapers Screenplay section about Club Nintendo. Here is the email and judge it for yourself! This is 100% no bullshit and I expect this to be on The Age's screenplay blog soon.

Hi Nick,
I received an Australian version of the game today and it does include a Club Nintendo card. I believe all Nintendo DS and Wii games released from now will include the card. Nintendo have said that the Australian prize catalogue will be unique.

hi, im just wondering if you know if super smash bros will have a club nintendo PIN number card included inside the box like mario kart wii did? And would you know what other games would be included in the club nintendo loyalty program? I am asking you instead of some other game guru's I know because judging by your last interview with rose lappin, it seems you get along very well and that she's happy to give you any updates.

I did call Nintendo Australia 2 days ago and asked the chick who answered me when the club nintendo stars catalogue would be up and if any of the swag we will receive will be similar to europes because we are apart of the PAL region. She didnt know anything more about club nintendo's catalogue or when it would be released but she did say "Maybe" when I asked her if our club nintendo swag would be simiar to europe's club nintendo catalogue. Could you let me know if you hear anything about the questions ive asked?

Thanks, I love reading your screenplay blogs.

Nick F.

Jason Hill received an advanced copy of the game like he did with Mario Kart Wii. So this is not shit. Believe me! Oh, Here is another reply I got from him.

Yes, Smash Bros. Nintendo have just said the catalogue will be up "soon".

This cut and pasted from my emails and you won't find this juicy bit of news anywhere else!!! This was sent to me today, Friday the 20th of June 2008 at midday. This is not copied from another source!!! Believe me!!!

Why Club Nintendo Australia's Stars catalogue is delayed according to Rose Lappin

This bit of info is from The Age's screenplay section. The interview was conducted by Rose Lappin, president of Nintendo Australia and The Age's screenplay writer, Jason Hill.

What's the current hold-up with the introduction of the Nintendo Club in Australia?

I don't think there's a hold up, we've launched it when Mario Kart came out and we'll continue to roll that out. We're putting on extra people at the moment because you must recognise Jason that we've had a massive increase, probably for the last seven or eight months we've been trying to put people into that and shore it up. So we're still working towards that, making sure we've got enough people. With the corporate area and working with NOE (Europe) and NCL (Japan) on Club Nintendo, one of the reasons is we're waiting to get that finalised. It's a hold up because we haven't got enough time in the day.

Will Australians get the same catalogue of prizes to choose from as your European customers?

I think there's a different catalogue of prizes for each territory but I have got information on some of the things we're looking at and they are exclusive and they're very nice.

And will all your games feature point cards?

All the new titles. Obviously the cards have to be included in the new items, so obviously there has to be a point going forward where you can do that.

Now I don't know what you're thinking, but I sorta don't buy it. Please comment and tell me what you think.
